North Douglas Preschool has offered high quality preschool education to the families of Victoria for the past 12 years. Beginning as a one-room morning class our educational facility has blossomed so that it now requires three classrooms and seven qualified teachers and assistants, morning and afternoon.
Key to the growth and success of North Douglas Preschool has been an underpinning spirit of acceptance. We believe that each child who enters our program must be accepted first as an individual; that by appreciating, validating, accepting and supporting children and their families for who they are at this moment ... we take the critical first step toward helping them grow into being all that they can be.

Mission Statement
North Douglas Preschool exists to provide a holistic learning environment which will support very young children in the development of the skills and strengths necessary to provide a foundation for lifelong learning. Simply put, our program has been designed to allow children to learn and develop at their own rate while enjoying the activities that they love best.
The Preschool operates as a non-profit entity under the direction of the board of North Douglas Child Care Society. It is a fully licensed facility and regulated by the Vancouver Island Health Authority.
Like all other programs dedicated to children and youth at North Douglas Church, the Preschool operates within the guidelines of the church's official ‘Child Protection Policy’.
